FINALLY

After impatiently and very anxiously waiting for a definite date from WorldTeach, within the past few days, I got the information, booked my ticket, and paid the remainder of my program fee. I'm still not sure why it took them so long and the apparent disorganization is quite worrisome.

The uncertainty was really getting the better of me, especially with February rapidly approaching, and I thought many times about bailing. With all that uncertainty, I repeatedly thanked myself for not making my plans known at work -- having Chile fall through AND losing my job would be beyond horrible.

But it's definite.

I'm definitely going.

And it's sure to be a wild ride.
