Bad English

My students say some outrageous things -- usually unintentionally -- in English. But it was a little Japanese 6 year old who took the cake. To be specific, what she was wearing. The t-shirt she wore to our last class (I teach her, her sister, and a friend) made me laugh out loud. Following stereotypes, it was clearly purchased in Japan. It was red with shooting stars and said:
